Bud Pavilion bartenders do much more than pour drinks. They help create memories and amazing State Fair experiences for our customers! “Hospitality” is the name of the game for our bartenders, ensuring every patron gets treated like family. Friendly faces always welcomed! You’ll help serve beer, liquor, and non-alcoholic beverages, so you must be at least 18 years old. You’ll handle cash and credit cards, so we want bartenders who are responsible, hard-working, and excited about fast-paced environments during live music performances. Our bartenders are team players and always help with open and close duties, and setting up service areas and keeping them clean. Bartenders are required to either have a West Allis bartender’s license or you can take our ServSafe course.

Runners truly make the Pavilion RUN! They are in charge of keeping this “machine” moving and operating smoothly and efficiently at all times. This is a position of great responsibility. Runners keep all Beverage Servers fully stocked with beer and malt beverage products for sale to customers. Runners tap kegs, move bottled products and make sure all beverages are properly iced at Beverage Server stations. Runners are on their feet up to eight hours per shift – you’re constantly moving, lifting, and using dollies and hand carts to move products from one place to another. All Runners also participate in general and constant cleaning of public areas, as well as assist with garbage removal. This position is perfect for responsible, hard-working, mature individuals who can take direction in a positive manner and work well within a team. Runners must be at least 15 years of age.

Grill Cooks work at The Grill (makes sense, right?). Grill Cooks with hot and cold foods, an open-flame grill, and deep fryers. They prepare foods like burgers, brats, sandwiches, French fries, chicken tenders, and other various appetizer items. Grill Cooks are responsible for keeping The Grill and grill areas clean at all times. They are required to maintain an appropriate personal appearance and adhere to food handling standards in accordance with Wisconsin state food health codes. Food safety management or kitchen experience is not required but is a bonus – we will train anyone who enjoys cooking! Grill cooks must be at least 16 years of age.

Looking for a kitchen position that offers a lot of variety? Grill Prep Assistants work alongside and directly support Grill Cooks at “The Grill,” and in our kitchen in the back. Grill Prep Assistants stock food areas, prepare hot and cold foods for Grill Cooks, make sandwiches, and wash and chop vegetables as needed. They also work deep fryers for some food orders. Grill Prep Assistants are responsible for keeping The Grill and grill areas clean at all times. They are required to maintain appropriate personal appearance and adhere to food handling standards in accordance with Wisconsin state food health codes. Experience is nice but not necessary – our managers will train you at the Budweiser Pavilion. It’s possibly the most flexible position at the Pavilion! Grill Prep workers must be at least 15 years of age.

Want to interact with the thousands of people who visit us every day? This is the job for you! Grill Servers have direct contact with customers at “The Grill.” Stationed behind a counter, Grill Servers take all food and beverage orders, relay those orders to the Grill Cooks, ensure completed orders for accuracy, and handle cash register transactions. Grill Servers are responsible for product knowledge and answering customer questions. You will be fully-trained by managers at the Budweiser Pavilion for proper food-handling techniques and responsible, appropriate and safe alcohol service. Grill Servers are also responsible for keeping immediate work areas clean at all times. This position is perfect for engaging, friendly and positive people! Grill Servers must be at least 18 years of age.
